PROJECT BLUE COLLAR ANNOUNCES BOGO BUY ONE GIVE ONE TO HELP SHELTER DOGS

by Kristin Waters |

Cincinnati (May 30, 2016) - Project Blue Collar -Support the Underdog® (PBC), the world's first lifestyle brand for rescue animals (and their humans) is coming soon to a retail store near you! And in the process, will be serving rescue animals in your communities!

PBC_BOGO_InfoCard_Lala "Project Blue Collar is an advocacy engine and a way for people to show their pride in their rescue animal" say co-founders Kristin Waters and Carole Feeny.

"The problem is that money doesn't grow on trees and rescue groups are always in need of supplies- including leashes and collars," says Kristin Waters.

"Our goal at Project Blue Collar is to raise awareness in order to drive adoption traffic, as well as, help them with supplies and funds so they can help rescue more animals," echoes Carole Feeny.

That is why PBC, the 3-year old, socially good company is instituting a Buy One Give One program for two of their collar and leash collections. The collections are intended to identify dogs as adopted and call attention to the case for dog adoption. Featuring the taglines, "I Am A Rescue" and "Support the Underdog®," the collars and leashes are great conversation starters and ways to share your adopted dog's story.

So going forward, every time a consumer purchases one of these collars or leashes from their favorite retailer, that retailer will select a local rescue group to be the beneficiary of a free collar and/or leash. For collars and leashes purchased online, PBC will be choosing two beneficiaries per month to receive the goods.

PBC's Buy One Give One (BOGO) program enables retailers to strengthen File_000 (8)relationships in their community with their customers and local rescue groups. Consumers can feel very good about their purchase; not only will they become advocates in their community but they are helping a shelter dog at the same time.

"Project Blue Collar provides a way to celebrate the life you share with your adopted dog while encouraging others to do the same. Pet supply retailers are a critical part of the life one shares with their adopted dog, so it makes sense to partner with them in our efforts to give back to dogs in need,"say co-founders Waters and Feeny.
